Natalya Saprunova, originally from arctic Russia on the Kola Peninsula in Murmansk, is a documentary photographer based in Paris and member of the Zeppelin photo agency. During her graduate studies as a French teacher in Russia, she worked as a photojournalist for the Murmansk Messenger daily newspaper.
Arriving in France in 2008, she studied and worked in Communication / Marketing for 8 years in Paris. At the end of 2016, she gave up her permanent contract to return to photography. Naturalized French and graduated on Documentary Photojournalism from the EMI-CFD School in Paris at Spring 2020, she continues to explore the issues of modern society related to identity, integration, climate change, youth, femininity and spirituality.
Being passionate about the transmission of knowledge, she has been giving photography lessons at the Graine de Photographe school in Paris since the end of 2016.
Natalya Saprunova is a finalist and winner of numerous awards including: CANON Story Daily Life award at Istanbul Photo Awards, UNICEF Photo of the Year, Marilyn Stafford FotoReportage Award, Lucie Foundation award, Ann Lesley BarTur Photo Award Judges' Choice, LensCulture Critics' Choice, Meitar Award for Excellence in Photography, Canon Female Photojournalist Grant 2022.
Natalya Saprunova, originaire de la Russie arctique sur la péninsule de Kola à Mourmansk, est une photographe documentaire, et membre de l'agence - Zeppelin. Durant ses études supérieures de professeur de français en Russie, elle travaillait comme photojournaliste pour le quotidien « Le Messenger de Mourmansk ».
Arrivée en France en 2008, elle a étudié et travaillé dans la Communication / Marketing pendant 8 ans à Paris. Fin 2016, elle abandonne son CDI pour revenir à la photographie. Naturalisée Française et diplômée de l'école des métiers de l'information EMI-CFD au printemps 2020, elle continue à explorer les problématiques de la société moderne liées à l'identité, l'intégration, le changement climatique, la jeunesse, la féminité et la spiritualité.
Par ailleurs, étant passionnée par la transmission des savoirs, elle donne des cours de photographie à l'école Graine de Photographe depuis fin 2016. Natalya a également accompagné des voyages photos en Russie à Saint-Petersbourg et au lac Baïkal.
